Instructions
For the Citrus Syrup: Put all the components inside a saucepan, bring to a gentle boil, agitating so the sugar melts. After that, turn off the heat and leave to reach room temperature entirely. Transfer to a sealable bottle, close it and refrigerate it in the fridge, where it will keep for up to a month.
To make Cocktail Base: Pour all the spirits and syrup into one big jug, let it rest for one hour, then filter it preferably using cheesecloth, making it perfectly clear.
For serving: Measure 85ml of your cocktail base into a mixing glass containing ice, and agitate carefully for a minute to cool it down. Strain to a frosted cocktail glass or equivalent, top with some cranberries and complete it by giving it a light spray with the mandarin essence over the top.
